The White Shark is so many things to so many people. In the past it was nothing shy of a “Satin of the Sea”, an eating machine with nothing but the Hollywood hype, helicopter eating, boat sinking, beach goer gobbling...DEVIL! As of late, the public has thankfully been educated to the true value and the unique natural history this great fish possesses. Without a doubt this predator should be respected and given a wide berth. Of course one should watch out for it while surfing and swimming anywhere pinnipeds (seals & sea-lions) occur.
