Birds of the Sierra
While this painting is called “Birds of the Sierra Nevada”, it could easily be entitled “Birds of Western North America”. This cameo shaped array of birds shows some of the finest species the west has to offer. Whether it’s the Mountain Bluebird, cut from a clear blue sky, the tiny migratory Calliope Hummingbird, the feisty Steller’s Jay or the familiar White-crowned Sparrow, there is certainly a favorite for everyone.
