Migration! Simply put, means moving from one place to another. It is however, anything but simple. It truly is a wonder that birds can successfully make the journey to and from their wintering grounds each year with such a gauntlet before them. Whether they have stored enough fat to make the journey, escaped predators, eluded collisions with illuminated skyscrapers, thousands of radio towers and power lines, they still have to survive the weather while vaulting hemispheres!
